If I look at the new iron giant interface, where can I click to apply for a membership…
I want to know this because I was trying to edit a forum.wikidot.com-page and it gave me the message :
Permission error
Oooops!
Sorry, you can not edit this page. Only members of this site, owner (creator) of this page, site administrators and perhaps selected moderators are allowed to.
So I want to become a member, but how?
I was saying in some threads that there is not so good info on "how to use" wikidot. I have the guru status and I don't know how to become a member of sombody's site…
I would like to click on a button or link to say to the owner of the site "hey man, I am interested in becomming a member", because the contact page is not always there.
Sorry if this is an idiotic question, but then I am an idiotic guru, and you better not mess with a guru, specially not an idiotic one :-p
Okay my eye fell on "wanna help" on the calander-project… and I saw "system:join". Wouldn't it be good to have that under a button or in the top nav of iron giant?

It's very hard to find if you don't know it's there — but there should be a link called "Join this site" in the top navbar. As far as I know this wiki has open membership.

We're working on the Join module which will do that, but it may be a few days. I'll add a link as Steven and you suggested.

On this site we should have a Join module when that is working.
