This is the old pagetree project. NoComment is a concept for forums based only on pages, without comments. It is probably insane, but take a look anyhow: http://nocomment.wikidot.com.
FWIW I renamed the site so that http://pagetree.wikidot.com is available for the pagetree concept, which is a navigable hierarchy of pages. Not quite a forum, more of a collective mindmapping tool.

A few weeks ago, half-way through building what is now known as NoComment, I think I realised what you meant about PageTree. I decided to finish what I was doing anyway, but will have a go at the new pagetree later. In the meantime, can you please make me an admin? ;)
As for the NoComment idea… perhaps it is a little bit insane, but it works! I'm having a small issue with a custom redirect, and it needs a few of the proposed features to be implemented before it can be finished properly, but it's a proof of concept.

"Insane" in the most complimentary sense, of course.
I suspect PageTree can boil down to a single template with navigation in three dimensions (parent, siblings, children); the difficulty will be to make a neat navigation that shows the local structure visually.

When is the NoComment app going to be released for public use? I would like to implement it as a forum on multiple websites; I'd use it as is (but I'd add some aesthetic changes to accommodate different themes of course).
It's just a proof of concept at the moment. If you want it to be released, I'd probably make a new template site for it and adding instructions there, rather than on http://nocomment.wikidot.com
