I've been working on a similar template for awhile. It's not a 'polished' as Pieterh but I've based mine around a paper/bound book. It's still VERY rough around the edges (div issues, display issues, etc.) but I think we can incorporate some of the visual effects I've created.

Yes, I also don't check GW very often. :)
This project could turn out very nice with a little work. When you have a sec, check out the links I posted and we'll see what we can nut out.
