The goal of this application is to create an easy space for users to place adverts for buying and selling goods and services. Adverts are organized using tags, and the main tags are shown on the front page. http://marketplace-template.wikidot.com.

Pieter, was the idea that this site would actually support the transaction stage (probably using external tools), or is it just for advertising?
I'm thinking about a possible "add to cart" feature. I'm sure there's some way to add that to a wikidot site…

Really, just for static small ads. We'd like to make a marketplace for Wikidot services. A kind of Craigslist clone, I guess.

Just for info, a shopping cart system that can be embedded in a wiki is from Basket2Go. It is free although there is a premium version with more features.

We can put the TODOs right on the main page of concept sites, that is easiest to find and work with until the sites get some structure
I looked at the market place project yesterday. It needs data forms and categorization fields, things we are making anyhow but don't quite have yet.
I'll write this up on the front page.
