The "MY"-section in a site. The place where you can store bit's of information that you wish to geather. Maybe a shoppingcart can also be one of the applications. This is info for your eyes only.
It's impossible that I am the first to think of this but… these are rock solid useable examples of the private catogory I think…
There are many reasons for private categories… which is why they're nearly finished and ready to go :)
Yours is a good one (private), then there's the business-customer use case, and of course, things like showing some sections of a forum to certain users, or hiding sensitive information (which is the reason I plan to use them for first up)
