Editor improvement breakage?

I've tried to post a couple comments on other threads (as discussion posts, not as new page threads), and it stalls in both IE and in firefox. Maybe this tinkering is affecting that?
In general, this simplification seems like the right thing to do (assuming it functions). I don't use the other buttons much, but they were my first exposure to Wikidot's wider functionality.
The heading button involves a drop-down. Maybe a similar grouping could offer access to the wizards, the bullets, and the other buttons.

These changes are not live yet; there is a small change (auto-expanding edit box) on the test server. So this does not explain the stalling you're seeing.
