This looks promising, though shifting the old-style to "deprecated" gives me pause — we've got lots and lots of images coded that way, and it would be tough if it ever went away.

Random images are a great tool, assuming a site's images are located primarily on the site. Is it possible to have the same random functionality for flickr groups and sets?

This looks promising, though shifting the old-style to "deprecated" gives me pause — we've got lots and lots of images coded that way, and it would be tough if it ever went away.

"Deprecated" means that while the feature is no longer documented, it still exists. So people would be discouraged from using it as a supposedly better alternative exists, but existing code would still work.
