Let's start discussing here
Is there a todo list TDM ?
Todo list: http://heresmycv.com/admin:todo
Or just links to area-specific sites, but cover most of the main countries? America, Australia, Germany, United Kingdom, …
You might want to have a look at these:
… though the first one will probably be more useful for this
You can move the existing link with CSS…. or just hide it with CSS, and add a proper link instead:
The problem comes with logging in, it's hidden by javascript. Is there a similar way to create a login link, pieter? :|
I can try making something…. what did you have in mind?
The way I see it, the less you have the better. Only create them as you need them (makes the forum look less empty)
MailForm module would have worked, but the way it's set up an admin would have to forward everything to them.
Alternative: http://jotform.com/
And of course, because people have to create a Wikidot account just a normal PM would work as well.
Many different ways this can be done.
Sounds good.
Search does support tags, but you have to do this: tags:big, noisy
If you had some way of just adding search terms on the end of the URL (I think this can be done with a Google custom search), this will be useful:
http://heresmycv.com/search:site/q/tags%3ASearchTermOne%2CSearchTermTwo%2CSearchTermThree
%3A is for the semi-colon (:)
%2C is for the comma (,)

And tag search doesn't work - yet. —> http://www.wikidot.com/doc:searching

Wow, I will have to re-read this and comment fully later.
For now: If you'd like to have a go at the logo/theme;
I'm not too good with image editing… so creating a writing paper-like look from scratch is going to be difficult for me (no idea which effects to use) - so that's a good job for someone else. And that's the theme anyway.
I was thinking that I'd make a logo with a transparent background (.png) so that whatever background you have for the theme, will also be part of the header. So the blue background can be added as part of the theme as well :)
So, the logo:

What about my notepad theme. It's very basic and rough but after some editing, it might be a little better.

Here's to creating a project with potential!
As I mentioned on the community website:
Have created a help category (have a look on the site to get the gist). This is open for all wikidot members so if you'd like to contribute, this is a possible place to do so.
Also, I have opened the nav:top to be editable, ie if somebody thinks of a new help file that should be included in the menu then this can be allowed for.
If people would like to see any more main menus/categories included then let me know and they will be created. I know it would be good to get the regional job sites in there somewhere, not sure if it's really a "help" topic but my mind has drawn a blank as to a suitable menu/category.
Anyway, I haven't done much more because Wikidot is being extremely slow and temperamental this evening; a sign that I should be heading off to bed I feel.
@The Dodgy Monkey: I changed the membership model on the site to allow members. I propose we invite the usual culprits, then close up membership. This is the fastest way of building a really neat site.

Please see http://heresmycv.com/test:start/
It is a bit bland so feel free to improve. The test category is open completely to wikidot members and the CSS on that page is directly connected to its theme.
I look forward to your input.
I had to change the whole site's look to that of the test page because the bottom of the bloo theme looked SO unprofessional. …and I had just sent out a CV and panicked! :-s
So, please, play around with the test page (do whatever you like), if the community approves of it or if I think it is just better than my first attempt then it will go live ASAP. I suggest you save your own CSS revisions on your computer, just in case somebody is editing the page at the same time.
Building and using a site at the same time is kind of a delicate thing!
The theme looks nice. It works, and the logo is simple and clear.

I / Pieterh will bump you up to Moderator status once we've noticed you join.
I'm sure I read recently that someone had PM me about joining. Just so you know: I didn't get it (whoever that was).
I am also wandering whether we should be using the forum on the site for these discussions, because we only have one thread here and it can get a bit messy (just an idea, what do you reckon?).
I'll create a forum section for the CV project.
Portfolio
Actually, I won't, because in a week or two this project will be stable and the section will just sit there unused.
What I suggest is just create more threads in this section. A single thread per project is not necessary, nor really useful. I'm going to close this thread. It's better to have a single thread per issue so we can discuss it cleanly, and close it when it's done. ("Closing" means to tag with _closed so it no longer shows on lists.)
