I saw you doing something to do with moderation, but I'm a bit confused as to how it's going to work. Not finished yet?
And as for shorter URL's, maybe just /u:tsangk instead of /user:tsangk? Because if you're going to take the category off completely you've got the added problem that any templates will be applied to the whole site :S
