Hi guys,
Wikidot and me want to launch a new project - Marketplace. Some things are done already (http://www.marketplace.wikidot.com), but I would like to ask you for help in making it better. We have already discussed that it would be better to list users/suppliers/designers/coders than particular products (as it is now), but it should be discussed with gurus obviously. Feel free to join this site and edit. I would be grateful for help :)

I would, but I don't have much time at the moment. Also, not really that good with ideas at the moment. If you can come up with any ideas to add to the site, I'll try to make that idea better … but coming up with things from scratch is going to be a bit of a problem ;)
It's an interesting concept, but to be honest: I don't see myself trying to sell anything on there in the near future. That might have something to do with not having anything worth selling :P

Even better… something along the lines of the Wikidot Polls @ poll.wikidot.com, where each person or group in the directory is rated on:
And a short description by the person or group in question, re: what they will do. Whether it be CSS themes, or something else…

I don't think that we can do better than other on the net available marketplaces… Or we have to think up something very cool. So I see it as a marketplace for wikidotters who know the syntax, who can make their own ad.
And yes a guru-for rent or to hire is a cool section… I'll be in it :-)
